Get the quoteThese heat pumps combine impressive operation with a compact size. They are high temperature, high yield heat pumps with Enhanced Vapour Injection (EVI) reaching a water temperature of 60°C. Operation up to -15°C outside air temperature, also suitable in foggy, humid areas.
They are our best quality/price ratio product for heat pump heating: they have the standard Grundfos circulation pump as well as a flow sensor, auxiliary heating element, freeze protection heating element on the evaporator in case of very low temperatures, rubber vibration absorbing support feet, Carel electronic, Sanyo or Copeland compressor, Ranco 4-way valve and low rpm fan speed (very quiet); in effect the best technology with minimal cost.
These heat pumps are able to manage an additional temperature set point and can therefore manage two tanks, one for service water, and one for sanitary hot water. For applications used only for heating/cooling systems, they are combined with a heat pump boiler, whereas for only water heating our buffer integrawith coil for instantaneous hot water is used.
In case of fan coil heating (water at 45°C) the set water temperature is sufficient also for sanitary hot/cold water. If instead of floor heating the temperature is insufficient for sanitary hot/cold water with a single buffer, an auxiliary heat pump boiler or other type of boiler is required.
The defrosting cycle is optimized and takes into account the pressure as well as temperature; therefore it never executes an unnecessary defrost cycle and thereby saves energy. Polar comes standard with electronic expansion valve to instantly adapt the vapour injection to the needs of the compressor.
Thanks to the production of high temperature hot water, Templari Polar heat pumps can directly replace the existing boilers (natural gas, LPG, diesel) producing hot water and heating with zero emissions (if combined with a photovoltaic system) also using traditional radiator systems.
When instead used with low temperature systems, Templari Polar reaches, under ideal conditions, a greater “coefficient of performance” (COP).
Tested and proven even in the harshest conditions, the machine is available with power ratings of 10, 12, 14 and 17 kW and is ideal for those who want a reliable and fully equipped machine for heating/cooling the home.
The ease of installation goes hand in hand with the machine’s versatility which, being suited to different types of systems such as radiant systems, air terminal units (recessed or external fan coils), radiators, is able to meet the most stringent requirements for building heating or cooling. Moreover, being intended for residential use, the type of electric power and consumption is really low, making it compatible with the normal electrical supply provided by the operator.
